Recipients Recognized for Their Notable Contributions & Achievements in the Global Marketing Communications Industry
The biannual IAA Compass Awards celebrate leadership excellence demonstrated by the members of the IAA global family. Honouring their commitment to driving excellence in communications and their volunteer contribution in achieving the worldwide mission and advancement of the International Advertising Association as the global compass of marketing communications.
IAA Vice President Awards, Diane Slade, announced the winners of the 2024 IAA Golden Compass, Honorary Life Member, Champion, Young Leader, Executive Director and Chapter Excellence Compass Awards at the IAA World Congress Gala Dinner in Penang, Malaysia on 6 March 2024 and said:
“The IAA is primarily a people organisation and these Awards recognise and pay tribute to our outstanding volunteer members around the world for their many achievements and services to advance the IAA locally, regionally and globally. Contributing their leadership and commitment to the marcoms community with vision, passion, energy and action.” - Diane Slade
21 Honourees from 12 countries were presented with their citations and trophies by Chairman and World President Sasan Saeidi with the Governor of Penang, TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak, graciously presenting the prestigious IAA Honorary Life Member and Golden Compass Awards.
All Award winners were nominated by their peers and judged according to set criteria by individual juries for each award group.
IAA GOLDEN COMPASS AWARD
Celebrates and pays homage to a supreme navigator who inspires by example and has through creative innovation, service to advancing industry standards and best practice in marketing communications performed outstandingly on the global stage. The Recipients of this Award in 2024 are:

IAA HONORARY LIFE MEMBER AWARD
Pays homage to a member retired from business, who has given long and distinguished service to the IAA in leadership roles locally, regionally, and globally. Recipients are considered members of the IAA for life without the obligation to pay dues. The Recipients of this Award in 2024 are:

Aligns with IAA’s Brand and Value proposition as ‘The global compass of marketing communications’. It is awarded to the IAA Chapter judged to have made the best overall contribution to achieving the aims and objectives of the IAA. The Recipient of this Award in 2024 is:
